Google Play policy violations

Merely days after Paytm was removed and then reinstated to the Play Store following confusion over whether the app was violating Google's rules against gambling, Google has now reportedly sent notices to food-delivery platforms, Swiggy and Zomato, for in-app promotions associated with IPL 2020.

Amazon Alexa - Privacy control

- Having often come under scrutiny for the alleged privacy failings of its Alexa voice assistant, Amazon on Wednesday announced new privacy features that it says will offer users more control over how their private data is stored online. As part of the plan, users will now be able to choose whether or not to save their Alexa voice recordings. They can set their preference via the Alexa app or by visiting Alexa Privacy Settings online.

Zoom announces pricing in rupees for paid plans

- India, video-conferencing app, Zoom, is now listing its plan prices in Rupees alongside other global currencies, including Dollar, Yen, Pound Sterling, and more. To see the plan charges in Rupees, users will have to choose India as their 'billing' and 'sold to' country. Xioami launches Mi KN95 mask in india
