Shortly after the TikTok ban in India, we've not only seen a flood of homegrown clones but popular apps, such as Instagram and YouTube have also tried to step in and fill the void. If you haven't been living under a rock, you would know that 'YouTube Shorts,' a short videos creation feature, launched in India earlier last month.

YouTube Shorts lets you create videos up to 15-seconds in length. These short videos are known to appear between traditional long-form content on the platform.

Amazon Alexa - Privacy control

- Having often come under scrutiny for the alleged privacy failings of its Alexa voice assistant, Amazon on Wednesday announced new privacy features that it says will offer users more control over how their private data is stored online. As part of the plan, users will now be able to choose whether or not to save their Alexa voice recordings. They can set their preference via the Alexa app or by visiting Alexa Privacy Settings online.

Zoom announces pricing in rupees for paid plans

- India, video-conferencing app, Zoom, is now listing its plan prices in Rupees alongside other global currencies, including Dollar, Yen, Pound Sterling, and more. To see the plan charges in Rupees, users will have to choose India as their 'billing' and 'sold to' country.
